Affordable Wedding Photographer for San Francisco and the Bay Area

I grew up in the wedding industry. Three decades of family conversations around the table taught me that the couple in front of me is not a lead or a package, but two people trusting someone with one of the most important days of their life. I shoot weddings between France and California, and I built this page for Bay Area couples looking for full-day coverage without the inflated quotes that have become normal in San Francisco.

Full-day coverage, from the first coffee to the last dance

A full wedding day rarely fits in six hours. By the time you add getting ready, first look, ceremony, portraits, cocktail hour, reception, toasts and the party, you need someone who stays with you from morning to late night. My full-day coverage follows the whole arc of the day, so nothing important slips through the cracks. I arrive early enough to shoot the quiet moments before guests appear, and I stay long enough to catch the dance floor when everyone has finally let go.

I work solo or with a second shooter depending on the size of the wedding and the venue. For city hall elopements in San Francisco, a compact half-day makes more sense. For a full ceremony and reception at a winery in Napa, in Sonoma, or at a venue like the Presidio or the Golden Gate Club, a proper full day is the honest answer.

Straight-talk pricing for Bay Area couples

Wedding photography in the Bay Area sits among the most expensive in the country. Part of that is real: living here costs a fortune, and genuine experience has a price. But a large share of a San Francisco quote is simply what the market has learned it can charge, and couples too often pay for a reputation rather than for the hours actually spent on their day.

I work the other way around. I start from what your wedding really involves: the hours on site, the editing time afterwards, the backups, the travel. Then I tell you what you genuinely need and what you can skip. If a second shooter adds nothing to your ceremony, I will not put one on the invoice. If a package is bigger than your day, I will say so before you sign. You are adults planning your own wedding, and you deserve a clear breakdown, not a sales script.

Natural light, real moments, no forced poses

My style leans on natural light and honest tones. Skin looks like skin. The dress looks like the dress. The California sun gives a stronger, warmer light than what I get in France, and I lean into that instead of fighting it with heavy filters. During the ceremony and reception I stay discreet, close enough to catch the look between a father and his daughter, far enough not to become part of the scene.

For portraits I talk with you, guide you a little, then step back. The best frames almost always come one or two seconds after people forget the camera is there. That is the moment I am waiting for.

Traveling from Temecula to San Francisco and the Bay Area

I am based in Temecula in Southern California and travel regularly up to the Bay Area for weddings. San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Half Moon Bay, Napa, Sonoma, Marin, the Peninsula, Santa Cruz. Travel is included in the quote in a fair and transparent way, not hidden behind vague fees added at the end. If your venue is somewhere specific and you are wondering whether it works, just ask.

What you get after the wedding

You get a full gallery of edited photographs delivered online, in high resolution, with printing rights. Turnaround is a few weeks, not several months. I do not hold your photos hostage to sell you extras you did not ask for. If you want an album, we talk about it separately, on its own merits.

If you are planning a wedding in San Francisco or anywhere in the Bay Area and want an honest conversation about coverage and cost before comparing quotes, get in touch and tell me about your day.
